Check-in starts at 4:00 PM. If you have completed mobile check-in you will receive a notification as soon as the unit is ready.
Check-in is at the front desk of our sister property Grande Shores, located directly beside Horizon at 77th at 201 77th Avenue N, Myrtle Beach SC 29572.
If you arrive early and the unit is not ready, you may enjoy our amenities until your room becomes available.
Check-out time is at 11:00AM.
In order to ensure that guests will have well-cleaned and sanitized condominium and hotel units, we require time between the last departure and the next arrival to perform cleaning services.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and contactless payments made with Apple Pay or Google Pay. If paying cash, a $100 refundable cash deposit or credit card authorization is required at check-in.
Pets are not permitted. Please visit www.coastalpawspetresort.com for information on boarding.
Service animals are always welcome. If you are traveling with a service animal, please review our Service Animal Policies and complete and return our Service Animal Questionnaire prior to checking in at the resort.
Guests staying in our condominiums must be 23 years or older unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
We do! Local residents of Horry County SC, Georgetown County SC, Columbus County NC, and Brunswick NC are welcome. A $250 refundable cash security deposit is required at check-in.
We would need a credit card authorization form to be filled out and returned with a copy of the front and back of their driver's license. Click here to download our Credit Card Authorization Form.
Our cancellation policy varies by rate type and travel season. Please reference your confirmation email for the applicable policy.
Horizon at 77th strictly prohibits loud, profane, and/or offensive noises upon the Resort's premises. This policy is intended to be more restrictive than the existing municipal Noise Ordinances already enforced by law enforcement. The Resort desires to keep and maintain a peaceful, enjoyable environment for all guests of the Resort.
The Resort strictly prohibits guests from playing music, videos, and other forms of meida which are offensive to other guests, whether due to loud volume, excessive bass, or explicit conent (profane language, sexual content, and the like). Any and all noise originating from a guest's room, including the room's balcony, must not be audible from outside the room or balcony. Any and all noise originating from a guest's vehicle must not be audible from outside the vehicle. No music, videos, and other forms of media may be played by a guest within the Resort's common areas unless the guest is using headphones or earbuds.
Violation of this policy will result in corrective action, up to and including removal from the resort's premises. By booking a room at the Resort, the guest acknowledges this policy and agrees to be bound by its terms.
All Horizon at 77th condos come equipped with a regular drip coffee maker.
For your convenience, we also provide complimentary packs of coffee. If you have a favorite brand or prefer a specific roast, you may bring your own coffee grounds and paper filters.
No, subletting of rooms is prohibited at Horizon at 77th.
Resort Information
Complimentary WiFi is available in your room and throughout the resort.
Condos with fully equipped kitchen include a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, and a regular drip coffee maker. Pots, pans, mixing bowls, serving bowls, cooking utensils, eating utensils, drinking cups, plates, coffee cups, and saucers are provided. Paper products are not provided.
Each guest receives a supply of clean linens and towels in the unit. The housekeeping policy is to replace used linens and towels with fresh ones if a guest stays four days or more. Linens and towels include bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, bath rugs, bed sheets, blankets, pillows, bedspreads, mattress pads, and shower curtains. A dish towel is provided in units with a kitchen.
Yes! All of our condos include a washer and dryer.
There is no need to bring an ironing board and iron with you to the beach. The unit is either equipped with ironing equipment or you may request the equipment when you make your reservation, check-in, or during your stay.
The resort provides pool towels at the pool. Pool towels are not to be taken to the beach, and we do not provide beach towels.
The resort does not provide beach umbrellas or chairs, however they are available to rent during the summer season. For information and pricing, please contact John's Beach Service at 843-448-6454.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted in any balcony or pool area or non-smoking unit. A per incident cleaning fee of $250 plus tax will be charged.
Our indoor pool is heated year round. The outdoor pools and lazy rivers are heated from end of Februay until season begins, and mid-fall until November. We don't heat outdoor pools and lazy rivers November through February.
No cooking, grilling, or barbecuing is allowed on the balconies at any time. Anyone found violating this safety ruling may be fined by the City of Myrtle Beach as well as the resort.
Launching, landing, or operating unmanned or remote control drones on resort property is prohibited.
You may request a condominium with a safe, subject to availablity. Otherwise, for securing valuables we have safety security boxes available at the front desk of Grande Shores for a refundable fee of $50.00 (in case the key isn't returned). Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen items while staying at the resort or parking garage. Please make sure that upon vacating your unit you have thoroughly checked for any misplaced items.
Please contact the front desk who will take down your information. We will be happy to send things you have left behind; the shipping will be at your cost.
Absolutely, children are encouraged. We offer many discounts to the area's attractions that are specifically interesting to children of all ages. Our suites are well suited to children because of their architectural designs, allowing children a wonderful and safe view from the windows, plently of space to roam in the units, and interesting places to play around the property and on the beach.
While Horizon at 77th does not offer its own shuttle service, the front desk agents can tell you about various modes of transportation in the area.
Parking Information
Each 1 bedroom unit will receive 1 parking pass at check-in and each 2 bedroom unit will receive 2 parking passes at check-in. Additional parking passes are not available.
The garage clearance height is 6 feet 10 inches, with the open overflow lot located behind Horizon at 77th for oversized vehicles.
Golf carts are not permitted in the parking garage.
Motorcycles are allowed on the first level of our parking garage. Bike engines must be turned off upon entering and exiting the parking garage and pushed into a parking spot. Please note trailer parking is not available at Horizon at 77th. Read our full Bike Week Policies.
Area Information
Horizon at 77th is located in a quiet, residental area on the northern end of Myrtle Beach within 20 minutes of most local attractions, shopping and dining. We are within walking distance of several restaurants.

Horizon at 77th is approximately 10 miles north of the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) has eight airline partners to meet your travel needs: Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Porter Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and United Airlines.

It is illegal to light and launch fireworks without a permit on the beach in Myrtle Beach.
The Apache Pier is less than 2 miles walking distance.
Hurricanes are seldom a problem here, but being prepared is the best policy. Horizon at 77th has a preparedness plan for hurricane season, officially from June 1 to November 30. Any hurricane is a major event and not to be ignored. Both local residents and guests should pay attention to the weather reports and to authorities' directives. Horizon at 77th tracks hurricanes closely and provides its guests with as much warning as possible. The likelihood of a hurricane here in Myrtle Beach is minimal, but Horizon at 77th remains vigilant and ready to implement our plans if need be.
